Day 1: Rabat
Your 6-day tour begins the moment we pick you up from Rabat Airport and take you to your accommodation. Once you’ve settled in, we’ll head out to see the Royal Palace, the King of Morocco’s official residence since 1864, located at the end of the Mechouar—a large parade ground. We’ll also explore the fortified Oudayas Kasbah, the lush Chellah Gardens, the impressive Hassan Tower, and the Mohamed V Mausoleum. After a day of sightseeing, dinner will be served at your hotel in Rabat. Hotel/Riad option: Riad Zyo Rabat or similar Meals: Breakfast

Day 2: Rabat - Meknes - Volubilis - Fez
After breakfast at your hotel, we’ll set off from Rabat to Fez. Our first stop is Meknes, one of Morocco’s four Imperial cities. Here, you’ll visit the famous El Hedim Square, the Sultan Moulay Ismail Mausoleum, and the Old Medina. Next, we’ll head to Volubilis to explore the Roman ruins. These ancient remains stood mostly intact until an earthquake in the mid-eighteenth century. Our final destination for the day is Fez. Hotel - Riad option: Riad Letchina or similar Meals: Breakfast

Day 3: Fez - Ifrane - Cedar Forest - Erfoud - Merzouga
After breakfast, we’ll leave Fez and head to Ifrane, known as Morocco’s Little Switzerland. We’ll take a detour to explore this charming city. Then, we'll visit the beautifully landscaped cedar forest, home to the endangered Barbary Apes, who are actually monkeys. This will be a great chance to photograph the cedars and wild monkeys in the Azrou Cedar Woods. Next, we'll stop for lunch in Midelt, a town famous for its apples and minerals. After lunch, we’ll continue our tour to the Ziz Valley, where you can take panoramic photos of the stunning scenery. Our journey then takes us to Erfoud, where we’ll visit the old date market and the fossil workshops. Finally, we’ll arrive in Merzouga. You’ll check into your hotel for dinner and a comfortable night’s rest. Hotel/Riad option: Riad Azawad or similar Meals: Dinner and Breakfast

Day 4: Merzouga - Khamlia - Rissani - Erg Chebbi
After breakfast, you’ll set off to explore Erg Chebbi. Our first stop is Khamliya, a small desert settlement near the largest dunes of Erg Chebbi. Here, you'll visit a Berber home and enjoy the unique rhythms of Gnawa music, which has roots in West Africa. Next, we’ll head to Rissani, an oasis town near the Sahara's northwest edge and the capital of Tafilalet. Rissani is famous for its bustling souk, where you can find jewelry, souvenirs, spices, art, and crafts. Lunch in Rissani will be a traditional Moroccan pizza called “Medfouna.” After lunch, we'll return to Merzouga to prepare for the next leg of your adventure. You’ll take a camel ride back to the desert camp in Erg Chebbi for another magical night under the stars. Hotel/Riad option: Merzouga Dunes Luxury Camps or similar Meals: Dinner and Breakfast

Day 5: Merzouga - Erfoud - Todgha Gorges - Ouarzazate
On the morning of our sixth day, we’ll start with a sunrise meal before breaking camp and riding our camels out of the desert. Once back at our starting point, you’ll have time to return to the hotel for a shower and breakfast. After packing your bags, we’ll begin our journey back to Ouarzazate. Our first stop will be at the irrigation canal in Jorf. Next, we’ll head to the Todgha Gorges, where you can marvel at Morocco's highest gorges. Then, we’ll travel through the Valley of Roses and visit a women’s cooperative, where you can explore and purchase a variety of rose products and organic items. We’ll arrive in Ouarzazate in the afternoon, where you’ll stay and dine at a local hotel. Hotel/Riad option: Riad Bochdor or similar Meals: Dinner and Breakfast

Day 6: Dades Gorges - Ouarzazete - Aït Ben Haddou - Marrakech
After breakfast, we’ll visit Kasbah Taourirte and the Atlas & CLA Studios, famously known as the "Hollywood of Africa." These studios have produced several films, including "Lawrence of Arabia" and "Sahara." Next, we’ll drive over the Tizi Ntichka pass, which sits at an elevation of 2,260 meters, to reach Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou. This UNESCO World Heritage Site is a stunning fortified village. After exploring, we’ll stop for lunch at a panoramic restaurant in the Berber village of Taddart. Once we finish our meal, we’ll continue our journey to Marrakech. Upon arrival, you’ll be dropped off at your hotel, concluding your 6-day tour from Rabat. This is the end of your tour.
